Experience

Robert Schug has nearly two decades of experience litigating in federal and state courts across the country. Before opening his mediation practice, Mr. Schug was a partner at a nationally recognized litigation and trial firm. His background includes extensive work on both individual matters and class actions covering a broad range of practice areas, including employment, wage and hour, civil rights, consumer, and insurance practices. â€‹Earlier in his career, he worked with teams representing businesses in patent litigation.

Mr. Schug has represented clients in trial, through appeals, and in arbitration proceedings. His experiences give him a broad and balanced perspective on litigation and dispute resolution, informed by representing both individuals and organizations in high stakes matters.

Throughout his career, Mr. Schug has taken a thoughtful, measured approach to resolving disputes, drilling down to the core legal and factual issues that will drive the resolution of each case and working toward efficient, creative solutions. He brings that same mindset to his mediation practice, where he focuses on helping parties identify the key disputes and move toward resolution.
